Enjoy an afternoon of family fun, bluegrass music, food and activities Saturday, October 29 as Green Streets Market presents Halloween Spooktackular.

The events begins at 3:00pm with a Pumpkin Painting contest, and a Costume Contest for children ages 1 to 11 will be held at 4:00. Awards will be given to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners.

Take a Ghostly Tour of the Historic Downtown with a local paranormal investigators, the Paranormal Chicks. Tickets go on sale Monday at New Moon Antiques for $10 per person.

The event will also feature arts and craft vendors as well as local downtown merchants open for you to shop, eat, and enjoy the day.

We want to thank all vendors and other local businesses and supporters who helped kick off the our second year of Green Streets Market, a food & art festival.  Committed to helping our hometown of Lawrenceburg's local economy and healthy well being, Green Streets is encouraged to grow and strengthen throughout the course of this year and hopefully, years to come.

2011: Second year, a few changes...

Hello to all!  We are excited about starting our second year of Green Streets Market in downtown Lawrenceburg.  Encouraged by our success of the first year, we look forward to an even better and bigger Festival in 2011!  The first and most significant change is a date modification.  Green Streets will now run from April through October and be on the last Saturday of each month starting April 30th.  These changes were made to take advantage of the Mid-South Tennessee's warm springtime months as well as to resolve some of last year's scheduling conflicts that occurred during the first Sat. of each month.  Additionally, this year vendors must be a Main Street Lawrenceburg supporter by making a financial contribution.  Click here to download the vendor application.

Our objective is to enrich our community through encouraging growth and the revitalization of Lawrenceburg's economy by promoting a monthly food and arts festival during the harvest season.  We hope to sustain a vibrant and flourishing relationship between consumers and local farmers and artisans in a family friendly environment.  We also encourage local business participation by sponsoring our monthly markets.  Our desire is to utilize local resources to educate the Lawrenceburg public about the benefits of living a healthful, "green" lifestyle.
