Lawerenceburg Main Street

Entering into our third year of Green Streets Market, we are proud to be part of
Lawrenceburg Main Street's
events.  We, once again, look forward to working within our community to foster growth and revitalization of our hometown. Based on a review of the past two years, we have made some changes to the dates and times to hopefully accommodate more participants.

April's Market will run from 10:00am until 4:00pm.  Vendors selling handcrafted items or homegrown goods will be set up from 10:00am til 4:00pm.

Dinner for a cause...

To show our support for child abuse awareness month, during the month of April, we plan to collaborate with A Kids' Place.  A Kid's Place is one of our hometown, non-profit organizations helping to support and nourish children raised in an abusive environment.  Members of this organization will be set up serving up hamburgers, hotdogs and beverages from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.  All proceeds from their sales will be donated directly towards A Kid's Place.

April, the GREEN Month

The month of April also hosts Earth Day on the 22nd, and is a great time to consider ways we can personally "green" our everyday lives.

The market, located on the square, will also give you access to numerous downtown merchants.

Come out for a fun-filled day and opportunity to live green and buy local!

Our Mission:

Our objective is to enrich our community through encouraging growth and the revitalization of Lawrenceburg's economy by promoting a monthly food and arts festival during the harvest season.  We hope to sustain a vibrant and flourishing relationship between consumers and local farmers and artisans in a family friendly environment.  We also encourage local business participation by sponsoring our monthly markets.  Our desire is to utilize local resources to educate the Lawrenceburg public about the benefits of living a healthful, "green" lifestyle.
